The roaring 1950's are making a comeback, in a huge way. Of course the cat-eye glasses were coming back with it, they were one of the signature symbols of the 50's. Although Tom's might not be in your price range (this pair costs about $250) you can pick up a cheap pair from Forever 21, Target or even a vintage clothing store for pretty cheap. Nothing says spring like white pants

Nothing says spring like white pants
From Vogue to Harper's Bazaar, white pants are a constant staple piece for Spring. I have this pair and I got them from American Eagle. They're stretch jeans, which makes them really comfortable. **Keep in mind that American Eagle jeans tend to run a bit bigger than other jeans, if you are regularly a 5, I might suggest a 3. I am a 3 but I wear a 2 and sometimes a 0. So just make sure you try them on!

Spring nail polish

Spring nail polish
Unusually, this year's spring nail polishes are not bright and obnoxious like usual. They're quite the opposite actually. In many magazines (and on my nails right now) are shades of dirt brown polish. My theory is that this spring is all about natural, so these brown earthy tones are really in for nail polish.

Brooke Shields, need I say more?

Brooke Shields, need I say more?
I'm completely inspired by Brooke Shields' looks in her younger days. Her natural blue eyes, chestnut hair, and pail pink lips are to die for in this picture. This is my perfect combination.

A clean and natural look is totally IN for spring. So ditch the heavy foundation for a new light weight powder, in many beautiful shades. I have had Bare Minerals makeup for a year now and I absolutely love it. My favorite product is the Bare Minerals All-Over Face Color. I own it in Faux Tan. It gives your skin a nice, subtle glow, without looking too orange. It's perfect for a "natural, no makeup" look.

Oh my lord, lace!

Oh my lord, lace!
Lace is all the rage this Spring. If you don't feel like splurging on a new lace dress, I suggest going to a local vintage shop, they are notorious for lace, lace, lace and did I say lace?

Fall into Fall

So, fashion's favorite season is back. I have read every 600 page September issue that there was to read, and I like what I'm seeing. The classic's are back. Camel, army green, chocolate browns and deep blacks and purples are the "it" colors this fall. So pull out your black tights and giant fall scarves because fall is back, and it's bigger than ever. Happy fall everyone!

Your fellow fashion blogger,

Kelsey
